Our 2013 Jeep Rubicon is equipped to handle most off-road obstacles we want to conquer and at this years Easter Jeep Safari we were happy Jeepers. #JeepRubicon #37NittoTires #Superwinch #Spiderbumper #EasterJeepSafari2018
We make plans one year in advance for this one week of fun in Moab just Jack, me, our jeep and thousands of other Jeepers for the Easter Jeep Safari. We camped at the Moab Rim Campark with a front row view of the parade of every kind of Jeep from old to new, from stock to over the top rock crawlers and everything in between....and let's not forget the beautiful red rock and mountains.
During the week we participated in three Red Rock 4-Wheelers sponsored Jeep trails plus we did some sightseeing on our own. Since we took a lot of photos all week I will try to make the post as short and enjoyable as possible without using a ton of photos. Hope you enjoy.
Trail 1: Day Canyon Point
Trail 2: Elephant Hill Trail
(Here are the rocks (more so the left ones) that if you look real hard you might see Elephants - or not) |
Trail 3: Flat Iron Mesa
On our own we visited Canyonlands National Park - Island in the Sky area
During this event, Jeep typically ships out the prototype of possible future Jeeps that will be on the market. Here's a couple that were on display that I really liked.
The last finale is a vendor sponsored raffle with over thousands of items worth around $252,000 (this year). Unfortunately we were not successful in winning any free stuff this year but, hey, there's always next year !
All in all we had a jeeptastic time and only have a few scratches on the Jeep so I think we were successful in saying we survived another year at Easter Jeep Safari.
Remember, take the road less travelled especially if you have a Jeep. Happy Travels !
